Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is seeking a full time Psychiatric Physician or Nurse Practitioner to join our team and to help individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. Position Responsibilities:

• Provides medical evaluation and ongoing medical care of GCB clients.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation of assessment and care provided to GCB clients.
• Works collaboratively with GCB psychiatrists, nurses and staff, and other outside caregivers.
• Initiates doctor's orders and other requests, and interprets laboratory evaluations.
• Makes referrals when indicated for medical or other needed services.
• Completes external reports (ex. FMLA, probation) as needed.
• Manages prescriptions, administration of medications, and education for GCB clients.
• Collaborates with family and significant others when applicable.

Position Requirements:

• Valid, unrestricted Ohio Psychiatric APRN, CNS, or PMHNP license required.
• MD/Psychiatrist preferred.
• Current/Active DEA registration.
