River Region Psychiatric Associates, www.rrpa.us , is owned by our founder Dr. Shankar Yalamanchili. We are
proudly the fastest growing private practice in the southeastern United States.
RRPA manages inpatient psychiatry units and provides consult services to hospitals, operates
outpatient clinics, including a mental health urgent care clinics. As part
of our mental health ecosystem, we employ psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric mental
health nurse practitioners, family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, licensed clinical social
workers, and licensed professional counselors. We also partner with community mental health
organizations, rural health organizations, correctional facilities, rehab facilities, and nursing
homes.

Position Summary
Incoming psychiatrist will work inpatient at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL, rounding on units and supervising mid-level providers. Psychiatrist will also work outpatient in local Alabama Psychiatry outpatient clinic in the Birmingham Market.
Call is one weeknight per week and one weekend per month.
Supervision of at least 2 mid-level providers is expected.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine - Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology
Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)
License Current valid license in the respective State hired to serve with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
