Oklahoma Indian Clinic is hiring a Psychiatrist to our Behavioral Health team. This position is responsible for delivering professional therapy services to patients with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. In addition to providing therapeutic support, the role includes comprehensive medication management, ensuring that treatment plans are integrated and tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Duties:

Conducts mental health and substance abuse assessments and diagnosis according to the DSM-5 including but not limited to Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Disruptive Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders Analyze and evaluate patient data or test findings to diagnose nature or extent of mental disorder or other presenting problem Prescribe, direct. administer or monitor psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional or behavioral disorders Consults with Behavioral Health Director and other providers regarding assessment, treatment and case management services Completes referrals for patients in need of treatment as appropriate Charts clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, referral, and accountabilityin a timely manner Crisis Intervention - walk in, phone or medical department referral Serves on committees as assigned

Qualifications:

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position. Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values Must hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited college or university Must have documentation of completion of residency in Psychiatry from accredited residency program Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry Must have license to practice in Oklahoma Must have current DEA license and OBNDD registration for prescriptive authority
