Psychological Technician with Security Clearance

Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Psychiatric Technician for a full-time position for the ATAMMC at Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia. This opportunity will support active military members, veterans and their dependents. Schedule: Full-time (40 hours a week) Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm This contract position offers: * Monday-Friday daytime hours * Health, Dental and 401(k) benefits * Outpatient Setting * 11 Paid Holidays Essential Functions: * Administers, ensures proper accuracy and completion by the patient, scores, and present results for Psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed Psychiatrist. * Assists the physician, RN, Social Worker and other treatment team members in decision-making to ensure complete and appropriate information is shared. * Identifies and reports any pertinent behavioral, medical, and/or psychosocial data to the physician, RN, and/or Social Worker. * Serves as positive role model by establishing maintaining positive, therapeutic relationships and appropriate boundaries with patients and their guardians. * Implements behavior management protocols in a safe, and therapeutic manner. * Completes vital sign monitoring per policy. * Provide patient privacy and comply with HIPAA. * Practicing OSHA safety standards. * Perform accurate, legal and ethical documentation at all times. * Assist with other duties as needed and assigned. Position Requirements: * Must be a U.S. Citizen (proof required) * Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a Behavioral Health related discipline. * Must have prior, successful experience administering Psychological testing (examples: IQ tests, personality tests). * Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). * Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members. * Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records. * 2 years of experience within Behavioral Health * Valid and current license from any state * Must furnish immunizations For More Information Contact: Lilian Thao 703-225-1403 Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
