General Job Description:
The Groden Network is seeking an independently Licensed Psychologist or licensed eligible psychologist in Rhode Island (PhD, PsyD). This position can be tailored to the interests and skills of the applicant, although a primary responsibility is to provide clinical oversight and supports to children and adolescents in our day school/program. The day school provides intensive supports to children and adolescents with autism and related developmental disabilities, typically accompanied by severe behavioral challenges. These students may also have associated mental health challenges, complex family issues, and other areas of need. Some of the students at the day program are also supported in our residential program. Additionally, the successful candidate may take part in research activities, provide services to our intensive step-down or other programs, provide individual or group therapy via our outpatient services, and/or provide services and supports to our adult programs in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
BCBA in addition to the LP is preferred but not required, as is program management, budgetary, and related experience. The successful candidate may provide supervision to interns and others for clinical training. This position includes attendance at selected professional conferences, and presentations at these conferences is encouraged.
