Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Specialty: Rehabilitation
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8, 10-hour days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
License: Licensed in the State of MN to practice PT
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience post-graduation
- Outpatient experience
- Preferred manual therapy skills
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and daily documentation
- Strong time management skills
- Open to first-time travelers who can integrate quickly
Job Description:
- Treat 8-14 patients per day
- Work with a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Handle diverse diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, high school injuries, work-related injuries, sports rehabilitation, and wound care, among others
- Service areas include outpatient, inpatient, swing bed admissions, and nursing home resident care
- Complete notes immediately following each treatment session
- Collaborate with a small team and distribute assignments efficiently
- Work with a highly experienced physical therapy assistant
- Monday to Friday schedule with 8-4:30 shifts and an hour lunch break
- No weekend requirements
- Casual professional attire with no specific scrub color requirement
- Utilize the Meditech charting system
