Python SDET Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Python SDET Engineer with expertise in AWS, Boto3, and test automation to build and enhance automation frameworks for custom products hosted on AWS Glue.

The ideal candidate will design and implement testing strategies, collaborate with development teams, and ensure the reliability of cloud-based applications.

Experience with Cucumber or Selenium is a plus, and knowledge of Client's frameworks would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Automate testing for custom applications built on AWS Glue.
• Utilize Boto3 for AWS service interactions within the automation framework.
• Analyze and understand existing applications to create a robust test architecture.
• Implement and optimize automation strategies for cloud-based applications.
• Conduct research on climate risk impacts on loans to enhance testing strategies.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate automated testing into the SDLC.
• Provide technical expertise on automation tools and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Python SDET with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in AWS services and automation using Boto3.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Familiarity with Cucumber or Selenium (any other automation framework is acceptable).
• Ability to analyze complex applications and implement scalable testing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Client's frameworks.
• Knowledge of climate risk impacts in the loan industry.
• Background in testing AWS Glue-based applications.
