QA Automation Engineer

The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for a long-term client project in Phoenix, Arizona.

• Role: QA Automation Engineer
• Experience: 6-9 years
• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in Technology, focusing on QA, with proven skills in writing test cases, conducting functional, automated, and performance tests, and managing defects.
• Provide guidance on Automation test strategy.
• Proficiency in unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.
• Experience in Test Automation covering functional, security, and system-level tests.
• Proficiency with Automation Testing Tools and Technologies, including RESTful APIs, Java, Rally, Maven, Junit, Eclipse IDE, JMeter, Jenkins, Selenium, and Python.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Agile at scale (SAFe), rapid application development, and Waterfall SDLC.
• Capability to deliver in Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) environments.
• Coding skills across various platforms are advantageous.
• Certification in QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, or ISTQB is a plus.
• Adaptive learning of new technologies and techniques.
• Up-to-date with current industry research and technology.
• Emphasizes collaboration for achieving objectives.
• Influential in team enhancements and continuous improvements.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technology and business domains, challenge conventions, and innovate.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration, coupled with relevant work experience.
