QA Automation Engineer

Growing Fintech Company looking for a QA Automation Engineer to come in and bolster their team. Open and relaxed environment, recently voted best places to work in Greater Boston.
Responsibilities:

• Generate Selenium WebDriver test scripts using Python from existing test plans that are well documented and follow Company coding standards.
• Maintain and extend existing Selenium framework.
• Analysis of failed test runs, including automated script validation, manual replication, identifying root cause and resolution.
• Work with Project Leads and Functional QA team to identify and prioritize test case candidates for UI Automation.
• Work with UI team and Fast QA team to identify UI changes and their potential impacts to existing tests.
• Provide feedback on test architecture and process improvements.
• Maintain and contribute to QA Continuous Testing page on the team's intranet.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of Software QA Automation Experience for enterprise applications using Selenium WebDriver, preferably written in Python.
• Familiar with object oriented programming concepts.
• Solid SQL Server/general database and SQL understanding.
• Strong analytical skills, impeccable attention to detail, and desire to work with financial data.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an agile environment.
• Desired technical skills - Selenium WebDriver, Python, Git, Windows and Windows Server.

Desired Skills:

• Experience developing and testing web based user interface, css, javascript.
• Familiarity with other test methodologies such as performance and security testing.
• Experience with Jira, Gradle, Maven, Bamboo or equivalent SDLC management tools.
• Experience in Financial Technology domain.

Education:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
