QA Engineer / Automated 2

ASSYST is seeking a QA Engineer Automated 2 to support our client in Texas . It is a 100% Remote position.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases executed, test results, and testing summaries in detail.
• Perform manual testing and data validation.
• Perform advanced SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Work with the development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test, define and implement test case automation, and communicate clearly with the team.
• Execute performance and accessibility testing.
• Review user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate applications or improve existing systems.
• Collaborate with the project team for sprint/release work on tasks such as providing testing effort estimates, resolving defects or issues, and providing status updates on work assignments or issues.

Required Skills:

• 7 years - Testing complex Web Applications
• 7 years - Testing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• 3 years - Database/SQL Language
• 2 years - XML, JSON, API Testing
• 2 years - Automation Testing experience

Preferred Skills:

• 2 years - Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST)
• 1 year - Test automation experience using open-source technologies and/or in-house frameworks
• 1 year - Experience with test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG
• 1 year - WAPT Pro/JMeter or other performance testing tools
• 1 year - Previous experience with Zephyr Scale
• 1 year - Previous experience with Jira
