Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and deliver high-quality, defect-free applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, developing and executing test cases using tools like Selenium and Java, managing defects, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure usability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test cases in alignment with project scope, objectives, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements.
  • Conduct UAT training and support testers throughout the UAT process.
  • Manage defects by identifying, tracking, and supporting remediation while maintaining traceability.
  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings to provide QA input and feedback.
  • Coordinate and facilitate defect triage meetings with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare test data and validate readiness of QA environments and interfaces.
  • Assist in backlog prioritization and defect severity assessments with Product Owners.
  • Contribute to Go/No-Go decisions by providing testing insights and quality metrics.
  • Work closely with UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA Specialists to improve usability and ensure product quality.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
  • 3-5+ years of experience with Selenium for automated testing.
  • 3-5+ years of experience using Java for test automation or development tasks.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ability to manage and support multiple projects and testing efforts concurrently.
  • Proficient in developing test plans, executing test cases, and reporting results.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools and facilitating defect management processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess requirements, identify gaps, and improve testing efficiency.
  • Ability to support compliance with established QA documentation standards and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $35.00 to $55.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
