Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry is currently looking for an Engineer to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Engineering Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in City of Industry, CA.
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining processes and practices within the quality management system that ensure the organization achieves the highest quality standards possible while minimizing product defects. This role integrates all quality-related functions into a cohesive system designed to assist manufacturing operations in providing quality products that fulfill customer needs at a minimum cost. The Quality Assurance Manager also develops, communicates, and coordinates the execution of all company quality programs and provides leadership to the Quality Assurance department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Establish, implement, and maintain processes and practices within the quality management system to ensure processes deliver their intended outputs.
- Lead strategic initiatives to ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, FAA, and other regulatory standards.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, requiring in-depth analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Report on the performance of the quality management system and opportunities for improvement to top management.
- Promote a customer-focused organization and lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction through quality improvements.
- Ensure the integrity of the quality management system during changes and implementation of new processes.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with internal, customer, and government quality requirements.
- Ensure appropriate training and certification of employees in all applicable quality assurance programs.
- Provide leadership for the Quality Assurance department, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.
- Work directly with key customers to address quality issues, audits, or certifications.
- Develop metrics to monitor quality performance, including customer scorecards, audit findings, and defect escapes.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field required.
- Experience: 7+ years in a Quality Assurance leadership role, with a preference for aerospace industry experience.
- Certifications/Licenses: Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ, Lean Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred.
- Knowledge: Expertise in AS9100, NADCAP, FAA standards, and strong strategic decision-making capabilities.
- - Skills: Excellent attention to detail, effective communication at all organizational levels, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
