As an FAA Repair Station Quality Control Manager you will be responsible for completing the tasks association with each work record, which may include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the physical layout of the floor work area and shops to provide sufficient work space for the proper segregation and protection of Articles
- Acts as liaison with Federal officials, FAA PMI, and customers' representatives
- Co-ordinate FAA inspections and customers' on-site audits. Implement corrective actions for Findings; provide response to Auditors and co-ordinate the close of Audit
- Complete Mail-in audits from customers and operators and communicates for corrective actions
- Manage, schedule and maintain the Calibration program of Measuring and Testing tools to comply with FAA regulations of Calibration tools for Repair station
- Perform the Repair Station Capability Self-Evaluation program, co-ordinate with FAA PMI to obtain acceptance of the Revised Capability list with new addition of Articles
- Ensure the availability of current technical data such as CMM, SB, AD, SIL to perform the work on the articles listed in the Capability list
- Execute Shelf Life program for Shelf life items in stock room, floor maintenance and shops.
- Responsible for Repair Station Quality system, inspection standards and procedures used in complying with applicable codes of Federal Regulations, OEM recommendations and customers' special requirements
- Responsible to maintain, review, revise the RSM/QCM and present to FAA PMI for acceptance
- Responsible to maintain, review and revise the Repair Station Management and Inspection personnel Roster in accordance with CFR 145 regulations
- Conduct Basic Training and co-ordinate for OJT, Remedial and Recurrent trainings of employees with Repair station manager and chief inspector
- Conduct monthly inspection audit and bi-annual internal audit, co-ordinate with department manager for corrective actions to findings
- Conduct conformity inspection, routine inspection, issue FAA-PMA airworthiness certificates, Export Airworthiness certificates and supervise the FAA-PMA program
- Maintain, review, revise the Manufacturing Quality manual and submit it to FAA-MIDO for acceptance
- Provide response to MIDO Audits, co-ordinate MIDO PMI inspection visits and on-site audit
- Co-ordinate with the Office of Hazardous Materials Special Permits of DOT for the Hydrostatic Testing of cylinders' process
- Co-ordinate with HR department regarding DOT Anti-Drug and Misuse of Alcohol program
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years in Quality Control/Assurance Management with preferred 8 years in Quality
- Experience in implementing and maintaining an AS9100 quality system.
- Experience in conducting internal audits and preparing for external audits.
- Establishing quality processes, quality control plans and documenting results.
- Evaluate technical specifications and drawings for sufficiency, requirements of conformity, identification of critical characteristics, and assembly methods.
- Success leading Continuous Improvement / Lean and Quality initiatives in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry
- Strong computer skills including database and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving abilities including complaint resolution as well as the ability to coordinate root cause/corrective action activities using formal problem-solving methodologies; knowledge of statistical techniques (i.e., SPC, Capability Studies)
- Prove ability to guide and direct a team.
- Very good with numbers; ability to perform basic to complex math calculations related to business applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language.
- CMM experience preferred.

Participate in decisions relating to all accountable areas, productivity, quality, safety, maintenance as required, processes & systems. Exercise good judgment be highly dependable, and follow instructions as required. Also, responsible for all the other general work force as related to interaction, application of polices and rules, and assisting employees commensurate with the demands of the position.
