Quality Control Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to join our team. The QCM will be responsible for overseeing the quality control of USACE and NAVFAC projects in the Federal Construction industry. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of Quality Control fundamentals as well as experience in the Federal Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Quality Control plans for USACE, NAVFAC, and EM 385-1-1 projects.
• Establish and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction activities comply with applicable quality control standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions.
• Keep detailed records of all quality control activities.
• Document all non-conformance reports and ensure that corrective actions are taken.
• Manage and motivate quality control personnel.
• Provide guidance and training to personnel on the job site.
• Develop and implement Quality Management System (QMS) improvements.
• Ensure that all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Control.
• Previous experience in the Federal Construction industry.
• QCM Certification.
• Knowledge of Quality Control fundamentals and Quality Management Systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
