Requisition Summary

Plant liaison support for all manufacturing issues or projects pertaining to quality, material delivery, and production. Identify root cause for problems that occur during truck assembly and work with appropriate Supplier or MSS companies for a permanent solution. Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to foster an effective team environment which continually strives for improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Assist with Supplier or MSS corrective actions related to daily PQI and internal campaign issues.
  • Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to foster an effective team environment which continually strives for improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Responsible for leading projects focused on process improvements.
  • Ensure that changes such as ECN's or bill of materials updates are completed at each MSS site.
  • Support implementation and compliance to control plans to ensure that improvements are permanent.
  • Provide direct training support in the implementation and administration of processes and procedures.
  • Develop methods of ongoing audit of processes and products.
  • Perform similar duties as assigned to improve overall performance with all the MSSs other programs (Material, Quality, Production).


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline required.
  • Three years minimum experience supervising teams in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement principles.
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
