Job Summary: To assist the Engineering group in developing a process that is capable of exceeding the customer's requirements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in activities concerning the development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards for all programs.
  • Develop validation protocols, with customer input, monitor execution, and develop completion reports for approval.
  • Responsible for First Article Inspection, PFMEA and Risk Analysis, Capability Studies, and customer driven requirements as required for all programs.
  • Responsible for maintenance of Customer Complaint Log, coordination of Non-conformance Corrective Actions, and Supplier Corrective Actions.
  • Perform initial tests on sample product for testing evaluation.
  • Evaluates and changes in technical specifications and product testing where required.
  • Coordinates activities in the development of testing methods and test equipment
  • Develop production process quality documentation and requirements to achieve customer reliability objectives.
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving issues with scrap and other manufacturing issues.
  • Work with manufacturing when process changes occur to assure Quality requirements are maintained.
  • Assist in the training of employees on tests and process methods.


Essential Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering with an emphasis in Quality Assurance, or related experience in Quality Assurance is required.
  • Requires analysis of blueprints and the metrology side of measurement, a solid understanding and application of GD&T is required along with all of the basic blueprint integration skill.
  • Good statistical analysis skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a team player; and have the ability to develop a team atmosphere. Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Multi-task abilities, organized, excellent time management skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of ISO, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), regulatory and quality standards.
  • Computer proficiency.


ADA Requirements:
  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
  • Travel by air or car occasionally
