Description:
Will be responsible for developing automated testing tools and test suites for verifying state-of-the-art solutions in HDL Code generation products. This includes enhancing testability, developing automated verification frameworks in both hardware and software and conducting hands-on testing of company HDL code generation and FPGA prototyping and verification product suite. Participate in the project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release. Design test strategies and create verification frameworks to efficiently test the functionality of HDL IP toolboxes (DSP HDL and/or Filter HDL, Wireless/LTE HDL, Vision HDL) areas. Create high level test strategies and plans. Implement test-tools and tests in a multitude of programming languages. Interface and compile generated HDL with 3rd party IDEs, Simulators and Synthesis Tools. Develop HDL/UVM Testbenches or Bus Functional Models (BFMs). Participate in feature definitions, design discussions and test planning. May telecommute up to 40%.

Minimum Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], or related field and [3] three years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer in Test-related occupation.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], or related field and no experience.
Position requires demonstrable experience with the following:
Familiarity with HDL IDEs, simulators and synthesis tools; Familiarity with Xilinx and Altera FPGA development boards; Familiarity with SystemVerilog and UVM tools; Developing HDL code (VHDL/Verilog) for deployment within hardware systems and verifying the functionality of HDL code on hardware or HDL simulator; Familiarity with signal processing, fixed point arithmetic, and embedded devices such as FPGAs; Knowledge of Hardware, Computer Architecture and System Integration for Embedded System Targets; Demonstrated experience in Object Oriented programming language such as MATLAB, including designing, developing, and maintaining test frameworks and test suites; and Knowledge of various operating systems including Linux and Windows.
