Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the ongoing product transfer from another supplier. This role involves NDA-driven work and requires a professional who can manage various aspects of the transfer process. The transfer began at the end of last year and is currently supported by two contractors. The Quality Engineer will focus on the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and onboarding new suppliers not currently under the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
Responsibilities
This role is based onsite at a manufacturing facility. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the ongoing product transfer from another supplier. The Quality Engineer will focus on the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and onboarding new suppliers not currently under the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suppliers for PPAP development and approval.
- Undergo PPAP approval training and ensure suppliers meet PPAP requirements.
- Review and analyze supplier data to confirm compliance with PPAP standards.
- Support Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage RR) and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) activities.
- Assist suppliers in achieving good correlation between their inspection results and validation efforts as new equipment is brought in.
- Balance responsibilities between supplier-oriented tasks (50%) and plant-focused tasks (50%).
- 4+ years of experience in quality engineering.
- Knowledge of PPAP and validation processes.
- Proficiency in Equipment validation IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Bachelor's degree, engineering discipline preferred
- Experience in supplier quality management.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) preferred.
- Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
