Job Summary:
The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the quality engineering team to ensure the highest standards of product quality and process efficiency. This role involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of material quality, process quality and product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Summary:
The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the quality engineering team to ensure the highest standards of product quality and process efficiency. This role involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of material quality, process quality and product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, engineering, and supply chain to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Establish and communicate quality goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes
- Responsible for Material quality monitoring and IQA training
- Responsible for Process quality monitoring and driving improvements
- Responsible for quality data, quality reports, quality meetings, PFMEA, QCP, Gage RR, quality training, etc.
- Ensuring industry standards and regulations compliance (RoHS, UL, CSA, etc)
- Responsible for material, process and product quality issues, corrective action and improvements
- Understand customer requirements and deployment into company processes
- Responsible for handling customer corrective action report and customer quality reports
- Responsible for customers support (Audit, RMA, meeting)
Requirement and Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (EE, ME Industrial)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a functional/team management/leadership.
- Minimum of 5+ years in PCBA, Box build and EMS industry
- IPC-610 certified
- Proven experience with quality management systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with proficiency in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, RCA, PDCA).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about inspiring, mentoring and managing quality engineers
- Power point presentation skill is a plus
Salary Range: $130K- $150K annually
