Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION
Reports to the Quality Control Supervisor, performs immediate direction and leadership of a group of employees, seldom over 15 in number; in process and final inspection on raw materials as well as on finished goods on the production/manufacturing shop floor of mechanical and/or electronic components of aircraft and/or ground support vehicles prior to presenting to internal or external customer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Standard Functions:
Assign work to employees in accordance with schedules, job classifications, medical restrictions
Instruct employees in proper work methods, use of equipment, safety rules, and quality and quantity standards
Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required Report to supervisor on work progress including conditions surrounding failures to meet quantity and quality standards At supervisor's request report on circumstances of incidents involving violation of rules and standards, leaving to supervisor all decisions as to appropriate action to be taken
Reviews rejections and discrepancies, taking remedial action whenever practicable, within the scope of accepted inspection practice
Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, purchase orders, statement of work and standards to determine quality status; use precision measuring instruments, follow engineering orders and instructions, and interpret specifications according to inspection practices
Independently perform comprehensive inspection of new, production, derivative and/or modified aircraft or ground vehicle raw material or completed components, for condition, conformity and documentation at shipping, receiving, acquisition, in-process or at final inspection
Performs receiving inspections on all incoming product/material from suppliers/vendors
Completes non-conformity and corrective action reports as required
Good organization skills and Microsoft Office software to accurately document and maintain associated paperwork and inspection results in a consistent and timely fashion
Understand regulatory requirements in reference to Counterfeit Parts
Familiarity with various specifications applicable to Defense products and material with reference to workmanship including checking Material Test Reports, Certificate of Conformance Perform same work as group and other related duties when required
Other duties as directed by the assigned Supervision Aviation Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or aviation maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA issued A&P license
Inspect incoming contract units, forms and records and makes applicable entries for receiving into work process
Provides continued surveillance inspection of all in process work
Review maintenance source documents, inspection records, notes recurring discrepancies or trends and initiates appropriate action
Conduct aircraft weight and balance tasks
Inspect/verify proper completion and documentation of safety and flight discrepancies
Approve or reject work accomplished by field team members to ensure compliance with customer specifications, standards and technical data
Inspects for airworthiness and quality of aircraft maintenance and alterations
Provides "OK to Install" for aircraft component parts
Familiar with all applicable 14 CFR and the RSM/QCM
Carry out similar inspection duties at both Domestic and International locations as assigned Mechanical Functions: Ability to perform GD&T measurement to verifying the compliance of complex detailed or completed components and/or assemblies of aircraft and/or ground support vehicles
Performs a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standard
(Welding) Knowledge with AWS welding standards and certification of product. Analyze test data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results Electrical Functions: Perform inspection on electrical components and assemblies utilizing applicable specifications. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no formal supervisory responsibility. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Electrical:
Proficiency in IPC-J-STD, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC-WHMA-620, MIL-STD-454, ANSI/ASME Y 14.5 M (GD & T), and AS9102 First Article Inspection. Mechanical:
CARC Painting Inspection, Welding Inspection (CWI), Composite Material Inspection, Additive Manufacturing Inspection (3D Printing), AS9102 First Article Inspection QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a minimum of a High School diploma/GED
(20) years Quality experience, minimum of (10) years working with standards, policies and regulatory requirements (Government and/or Commercial) Preferred candidates will have experience at a minimum in one or more of the following qualifications: electrical, mechanical, electronics, hydraulics, fuels, NDI, painting, welding, structures and/or composites
Airframe & Power plant license highly desirable
Maintain Certifications as required to perform duties
Experience in a manufacturing/repair station/research & development environment preferred Must be able to travel to Customers or Suppliers location
