Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Manager in our Griffin, GA - Bandag Retread facility. Bridgestone Americas has operated its Bandag plant in Griffin for more than 40 years, servicing direct and indirect customers through the production of rubber and chemical materials.

As a Quality Manager your work will include:
Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product
Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products
Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards
Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods

Responsibilities
Manages experienced professionals who exercise independent discretion and/or

manages a functional area or process that may or may not have direct reports.
Implements policy and strategy for short-term results and influences others out

side of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures
Decision making is guided by strategic objectives of specialization
Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and

procedures
Must be able to communicates with executive leadership
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; 6 y+ years of relevant experience including 3-5 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience
Or Master's degree; 4+ years of relevant experience including 2-4 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience
