Scope

We are seeking a highly skilled Responsible NDT Level III - Eddy Current Inspection (ECI) professional to join our team in Columbus, GA. This individual will oversee and ensure compliance with all Nondestructive Testing (NDT) requirements in accordance with NAS 410 (latest edition), CEC Repair Station Procedures (RSP), and P&W Approved Technical Data (ATD).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Responsible NDT Level III for Eddy Current Inspection (ECI) at the CEC facility.
• Conduct initial system capability certification, evaluate processes, and recommend improvements to the CEC Quality department.
• Recommend and be available for 1-2 weeks of onsite support.
• Certify P&W employees in ECI following NAS 410 and ATD requirements.
• Ensure compliance by maintaining certification documentation per NAS 410 and CEC RSPs, using local CEC Forms.
• Review and approve experience hours for individuals pursuing ECI Level II certification.
• Maintain certification records for all ECI-certified employees.
• Coordinate and schedule certification exams and practical assessments with CEC personnel.
• Conduct 6-8 random performance audits annually to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
• Serve as a process expert to support troubleshooting efforts as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of NDT experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Current or eligible to obtain an NDT Level III certification in one or more NDT methods.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience in training and personnel testing within NDT systems.
• Hands-on experience with fully automated inspection systems such as IRT ScanMaster and Matec Aragorn.
• Background in aerospace manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and process control methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
