The Staff Co-Director serves as the pedagogical and programmatic anchor of the Q-Center. This full-time, full-year position is on the ground, every day, overseeing all activities at the Q-Center, enhancing learning opportunities by shaping Center services to address STEM student and faculty needs and promoting positive outcomes
This is a full time, benefits eligible, salaried position with a hiring range of $85,295 - $108,810 per year.

Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose student need by assessing quantitative skills & recommend placement for students
- Deliver comprehensive and effective training program for STEM/Q tutors with successful strategies for measuring impact
- Teach courses in essential STEM areas through pedagogical approaches that provide superb instruction in foundational quantitative concepts (for credit, e.g.- MATH105, 1-2 per year)
- Develop and execute excellent workshops for students that deliver effective, measurable skill development in introductory-level STEM/Q courses
- Develop, in collaboration with the Faculty Co-Director, professional development programming for STEM/Q faculty
- Provide 1:1 consults for students
- Oversee Q-Center budget
- Manage Q-Center staff and daily operations
Requirements
- Master's degree in a STEM field required; Master's degree in STEM Education or a related field of pedagogy preferred
- Must have 3-5 years of experience demonstrating excellence in teaching STEM/Q subjects (Chemistry or Bio preferred)
- Must have exceptional people skills and a palpable excitement for engaging with/ supporting students and working constructively in a team.
- Must have proven positive impact on student learning
- Must have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and effective time management
