Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Specialty: MRI
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8H Days, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required
License: WA state license
Certifications: BLS, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
Must-Have:
- 2 years experience in MRI neuro, body, and MSK studies
- Experience with Siemens TIMS Symphony & 3T Trio equipment
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR & McKesson PACS
- Ability to start IVs as required
Job Description:
- Perform MRI neuro, body, and musculoskeletal studies on a day-to-day basis
- Operate Siemens TIMS Symphony & 3T Trio MRI machines to conduct scans
- Document and maintain patient records using EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
- Collaborate with an in-house radiologist to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
- Participate in department-specific orientation during the first full week
- Follow departmental dress code as scrubs are not provided, and travelers must use their own
- Engage in limited on-call duties as mutually agreed upon
- Participate in limited holiday and weekend work as mutually agreed upon
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare and radiology standards and regulations
This position involves both outpatient and inpatient settings, with an average of 13 MRI scans or studies performed per day. It requires professional interaction with other healthcare providers under the management of the Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech.
