Job Title: Rad Tech
Job Specialty: Echocardiography
Job Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: 8H Days, 7 AM - 5 PM, with call responsibilities, every other weekend, potential to float between campuses
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, RDCS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI
Must-Have: Cardiac certified sonographer
Job Description:
- Perform echocardiography procedures for various age groups, including TTE and TEE.
- Float between campuses as needed, covering all hospital areas, including pediatric and NICU studies.
- Utilize equipment and charting systems such as Meditech, McKesson, Toshiba, GE, and Philips.
- Adhere to a weekend requirement of every other weekend and a holiday requirement for Christmas Eve/Day.
- Maintain a call response time of 30 minutes, approximately 2 days a week.
- Wear navy scrubs.
- Orientation provided upon arrival; floor-specific orientation not included.
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
