Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing and administering the implementation of NADG's Radiation Safety and Quality Program and related elements at the central and site levels, including but not limited to: proper facility radiation licensing, managing radiation policies and procedures, updating program protocols to match new regulations, assisting sites with state registration, guidance with state inspection compliance, and conduction on-site radiation compliance visits.
The Radiation Coordinator acts as a partner to office teams to create radiation protocols at the central level and to oversee the related processes and policies at site levels in support of internal, external, and company-wide compliance initiatives under the direction of the Compliance Director, Compliance Manager, and/or Director of Internal Audit and Peer Review.

Responsible for overseeing and administering the implementation of NADG's Radiation Safety and Quality Program and related elements at the central and site levels, including but not limited to: proper facility radiation licensing, managing radiation policies and procedures, updating program protocols to match new regulations, assisting sites with state registration, guidance with state inspection compliance, and conduction on-site radiation compliance visits.
The Radiation Coordinator acts as a partner to office teams to create radiation protocols at the central level and to oversee the related processes and policies at site levels in support of internal, external, and company-wide compliance initiatives under the direction of the Compliance Director, Compliance Manager, and/or Director of Internal Audit and Peer Review.
- Act as Compliance Department liaison for Radiation Safety and Quality Program management both centrally and at NADG supported offices, to include providing welcome and reminder emails, best practices for addressing deficiencies/maintaining radiation quality, managing software, and acting as a general initial point of contact for site level radiation compliance concerns
- Manage and oversee individual site level radiation programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company-wide protocols, including but not limited to registration, violation remediations, policy development, and safety practices.
- Central management of facility radiation licenses/permits for NADG supported practices, including a detailed tracker for insight into radiation related key performance indicators categorized by state and office
- Assume role of subject matter expert for radiation related compliance/company-wide initiatives with direct impact at the site level
- Assist with or recommend development of compliance processes related to central, state, or office specific radiation programs
- Manage projects related to compliance radiation initiatives, including but not limited to development of policies and procedures and hosting regular trainings (ex: Lunch & Learns)
- Maintain up to date knowledge of state specific regulations and best practices that impact radiation programs and/or related compliance initiative projects
- Alert compliance leadership in the case of potential high-risk occurrences related to radiation management either centrally or at the site level (i.e.: radiation inspection, missing quality testing, overexposures, potential service interruption etc.)
- Monitor and assist with processing and addressing results and deficiencies from state and internal inspections of facilities' radiation programs
- Conduct routine in-person, on-site visits to supported offices for targeted compliance support
- Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
So How Can You "Fill" This Role?
- Minimum 2 years' experience in compliance (or comparable experience in a leadership role)
- Minimum 1 year in healthcare role (can include healthcare compliance)
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills.
- Proven attention to detail with strong analytical skills
