Job Description
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Job Specialty: Radiation Therapist
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts, 7 am - 7 pm (4/10's or 5/8's)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years with Varian treatment systems
License: Active Virginia State License
Certifications: RT(T), BLS (AHA required)

Must-Have:
- Experience in using Varian Truebeam, Varian Trilogy, and IBA Proton systems
- Familiarity with Aria EMR

Job Description:
- Perform radiation therapy treatments using Varian systems
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
- Maintain and operate treatment machines while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide compassionate and effective care to patients during the therapy process
- Conduct accurate documentation and reporting within the system
- Engage in department-specific orientation and training sessions
- Adhere to dress code requirements, wearing gray scrubs

Additional Information:
- Weekend work is variable, primarily if proton machines require attention
- No call or floating expectations
- No holiday treatment requirements
