Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Job Specialty: Radiation Oncology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7A-5P, 10-Day
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: 1 year preferred, depending on type of experience
License: State license for Radiation Therapy
Certifications: BLS, ARRT (T) required
Must-Have: Experience with Mosaiq, TrueBeam, or Varian preferred
Job Description:
- Conduct radiation therapy procedures for outpatient and inpatient care areas, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients, while rarely treating pediatric patients.
- Collaborate within a Level II Trauma Center environment, capable of receiving air flights and serving a large regional area.
- Operate advanced technology and equipment, including three Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators and one Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems, specifically Mosaiq, for patient data management.
- Coordinate and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Cover additional linacs as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Participate in a facility recognized as a Certified Stroke Center, providing exceptional healthcare services.
Note : First-time travelers are welcome to apply and will be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with Mosaiq and Varian systems.
