Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8.5 hours or 12 hours, unpaid lunch, primarily afternoons and overnight, Monday through Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
License: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Certifications: BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider
Must-Have:
- Graduate of a two-year accredited radiologic technology program
- BLS Certification from either the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic and surgical radiographic procedures.
- Provide support services within the department when not performing patient procedures.
- Ensure high-quality imaging results and patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues to ensure a safe and functional working environment.
- Support departmental operations and assist in non-patient-care duties as needed.
- Adherence to established protocols and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
