Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
License: Valid state license required; MRI techs without license acceptable for submittals
Certifications: Current BLS and ARRT certifications required; AART Advanced certification preferred
Must-Have: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Description:
- Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion.
- Operate CT equipment efficiently to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent situations.
- Work in a dynamic emergency room setting with emergent inpatient needs in a Level I trauma center.
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.
- Participate actively in maintaining a supportive work environment in an inpatient operating room and ICU setting.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including flu vaccine requirements with only medical exemptions.
- Complete credentialing processes, including fingerprinting, in a timely manner.
- Provide professional references as required.
