Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Experience: 1+ year
License: Pending License not accepted
Certifications: BLS Required
Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience, Ultrasound Procedure experience, Carotid/Arterial, Vascular Procedure experience
Job Description:
- Perform CardioVascular scans for a cardiology outpatient office.
- Dual registered Cardiovascular Sonographer in Echo and Vascular. If not, must be strongly vascular certified.
- Operate in a level 1 Trauma Hospital with a free-standing Heart hospital, performing many Cardiac exams daily.
- No call or weekend shifts required.
- Must be willing to float to other units and campuses per census concerns, assured only floating to qualified areas.
- Complete pre-assignment testing and modules. Modules are billable up to 16 hours and completed annually.
- Orientation required for 16 hours.
- Local candidates accepted based on location criteria.
- All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
- Orientation starts every Monday.
- Pre-Assignment testing and modules are required within 48 hours of receiving login information.
