Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology - MRI Tech

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:30)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: 1 year of MRI experience required

License: Eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)

Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have:
- ARRT(R) upon employment, with ARRT(R)(MRI) achieved within 18 months of hire
- Experience with Meditech preferred
- Must not be a local traveler residing within 50 miles of the facility

Job Description:

- Perform MRI imaging to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor consistent with medical ethics.
- Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for the successful completion of the procedure.
- Be available for call on hospital-recognized holidays.
- Participate in a 16-hour orientation.
