Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30
Experience: 1 year required
License: State License; PET license preferred
Certifications: ARRT N or NMTCB, ARRT R, BLS
Must-Have: COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider for medical reasons, National certifications, BLS
Description:
This position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
The facility operates as a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital.
It includes a Children's Hospital and provides short-term, acute care.
Applicants are expected to handle cases involving adults and geriatrics.
Preferred experience involves neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents.
The facility houses 4 General Rooms, 1 SPECT/CT, and 2 PET/CT rooms.
Minimal on-call duties are required, from 1600 to 0600 on weekdays and 24-hour shifts on weekends.
Floating within the facility or to sister facilities is not required.
No locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted.
Pending state licenses are accepted.
Procedures to handle include normal diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging, such as Cardiac, Bone Scans, HIDA, Muga Scans, Renograms, Liver/Spleen, and Infection Imaging.
Experience with therapies including I-131, Xofigo, and Lutathera is advantageous.
Special skills required include outpatient and inpatient care, IV starts, phlebotomy, PACS, cardiac imaging, and various other scans and studies.
The charting system used is Cerner.
Scrub color is hunter green.
