Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Experience: 1+ years
License: Pending license not accepted
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- EPIC Experience required
- Ultrasound Procedure Experience required: Carotid / Arterial
- Vascular Procedure Experience Required: Arterial Mapping / Doppler studies / Peripheral Vascular / Upper & Lower extremity Venous / M-Mode
Must-Have:
- Preferred Dual-registered Cardiovascular Sonographer in Echo and Vascular. If not, must be strongly Vascular Certified.
Job Description:
- Perform cardiovascular scans for a cardiology outpatient office.
- Work schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- No on-call requirement and no weekends.
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital with a freestanding Heart Hospital that performs many cardiac exams 24/7.
- Expectation to complete pre-assignment testing and modules as required.
- Ability to float to other units or facilities per request due to census needs, performing tasks within qualified competencies.
- Orientation includes 16 hours.
- Flu Vaccine required with no exemptions.
