Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30), Monday to Friday
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, bedside/portable procedures, ER, ICU, NICU, OR, Pediatrics, and PICU.
License: Valid State License required prior to submission
Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS
Must-Have:
- Experience in imaging abdominal, chest, and thorax
- Proficiency with GE, O-ARM, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment
- Must have a flu vaccination (required, no exemptions)
Job Description:
- Perform X-ray procedures for various patient populations, including adults and pediatrics.
- Conduct bedside and portable imaging procedures as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in the ER, ICU, NICU, OR, and PICU.
- Utilize imaging equipment from manufacturers such as GE, O-ARM, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba.
- Ensure accurate imaging results in abdominal, chest, and thorax areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in the orientation and training sessions, including billable and non-billable modules.
- Adapt to the schedule and compliance requirements for the duration of the contract.
- Complete necessary documentation and support department operations as needed.
Note: This role welcomes first-time travelers with the appropriate experience. The facility requires all employees to have their flu vaccination. Interview by a manager may not be conducted, and candidates should be prepared for this possibility.
