Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiology CT
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: AM, 10 hours, M-Th, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Two years as a registered radiology technologist; Prior computed tomography experience in a trauma/cardiac facility preferred.
License: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Certifications: ARRT CT certified, BLS
Must-Have:
- Registered by the ARRT
- ARRT CT certified with a minimum of 1-year experience in computed tomography
- CT registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of hire
- Venipuncture skills, preferred angiography experience (not required), and preferred biopsy experience (not required)
Job Description:
- Perform CT imaging and ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
- Handle imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff to meet patient needs.
- Participate in rotating on-call duties once every 4-6 weeks, with a minimum call-back period of two hours.
- Maintain active communication with the radiology team and other departments.
- Adhere to departmental dress code: Caribbean Blue and any combination of Black Scrubs.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
