Radiology Director / Imaging / FT
The Department Director is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital's mission, vision, and facility goals. The Director identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the department's business, considering business trends, resource availability, and customer changes. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors. The Director identifies and remedies issues through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Department Director works with Senior Management to meet Facility goals. The director plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging polices, procedures, and services, which include MRI, CT, radiology, and ultrasound.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA - approved school in Radiological or Ultrasound Technology preferred.
- BA preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
- AART or ARDMS Registered required
- Current BLS certification
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Knowledgeable of state, federal, and JCAHO Regulations.
