Position Summary:
Fulton has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned electrical engineer to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you'll have the chance to take a leading role in shaping a dynamic team, setting priorities, and driving modernization initiatives in the evolving boiler industry.
You will manage projects from start to finish, introduce innovative technologies, and explore new ideas.
You'll engage in diverse projects, from upgrading control systems to developing new components, offering a variety of challenges and opportunities for creativity.
As a key member of the research and development team, the R&D Electronics Group focuses on designing and advancing embedded control systems for heat transfer solutions, including boilers, heat pumps, and hybrid systems. The R&D innovation team leverages computational modeling, lab testing, and field evaluations to create state-of-the-art heating solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead with Vision: Guide, mentor and work alongside a team of electrical engineers, fostering collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence.
- Innovate Boldly: Bring fresh ideas to enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in our boiler systems.
- Collaborate Globally: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth QA testing, marketability, release to production, and rapid support for Fulton products.
- Drive Results: Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring designs meet safety and regulatory standards for global markets while keeping a sharp focus on industry standards.
- Project Management: Plan and organize project goals toward completion.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in embedded systems design, with a strong focus on hardware and software integration.
- Experience managing and developing a team with a proven track record of managing successful projects from concept to production.
- Proficiency in embedded system design tools, such as Eagle or KiCAD, for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Experience developing and debugging firmware in C/C++ or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of system testing and validation tools, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software debuggers
- Knowledge of protocols: Modbus, Ethernet IP, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, Lonworks, RS232, RS485
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
- Experience working on HVAC controls systems.
- Familiarity with IoT-enabled controls or cloud-based system integration.
- Expertise in Microchip PIC32 technology.
- Understanding of global regulatory requirements for safety and energy efficiency.
- Experience leading system testing, debugging, and validation, utilizing laboratory and field data to refine designs and improve product performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Repetitive Motion - Substantial movement/motion of the wrists, hands and fingers.
