Pay: $150k+ (depending on experience)
Schedule: Onsite Daily

Summary:
The R&D Manager will lead innovation and technological advancements, playing a key role in the company's strategic growth. This hands-on leader, with deep formulation expertise, will manage the R&D team to drive product development and support company growth through expansion and acquisitions over the next 3-5 years.

• Manage and mentor R&D staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
• Approve R&D formulations to optimize costs and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Identify new marketable coatings products and systems.
• Operate the R&D department within budgetary constraints.

What you need to succeed:

• Master's/Ph.D. in Chemistry (focus on Polymers & Coatings Technology).
• 10+ years in polymer/coatings labs, including 7+ years in formulation roles.
• Experience with solvent-borne, water-borne, polysiloxane, and urethane chemistries.
• Familiarity with industrial coatings applications and troubleshooting.
• Strong foundation in analytical chemistry and spectral data interpretation.
