Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate (3rd-6th year) to join a prestigious firm's Washington, D.C., New York, or Reston, VA office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated clients on complex real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle real estate secured loans, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Review and analyze title, survey, and due diligence materials.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase agreements, and leases.
• Manage transactions from inception to closing, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of real estate experience at a comparable law firm.
• JD from a nationally recognized law school with strong academic credentials.
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $260,000 - $390,000 (Final offer depends on location and experience).
