Description:

Norton Rose Fulbright's Vancouver office is currently seeking a mid-level associate to join our dynamic and collegial real estate team.

Our real estate lawyers act for clients across a full range of real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposal, development and financing of commercial and industrial properties. Our team has extensive experience negotiating office, retail and industrial lease transactions on behalf of landlords and tenants. We also regularly advise private and publicly traded businesses on various corporate and commercial issues, including structuring of limited partnerships and other corporate vehicles, municipal zoning, subdivisions and redevelopment, regulatory compliance, environmental issues, and Indigenous participation in commercial projects. Our clients include local, domestic and international companies of all sizes, including starts up, privately held companies, international franchises, real estate investment trusts and publicly traded companies.

Our real estate group offers a diverse practice and a commitment to mentorship and training in a team-oriented work environment. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to these types of real estate matters, as well as:
  • 3 to 6 years of post-call experience;
  • excellent academics; and
  • commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm for our work, and an innovative and team-oriented approach to practice.

Vancouver Salary: $142,000-$190,000 per year. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience.
