Real Estate Attorney (Commercial Litigation)

Job Description:
A well-established firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in commercial litigation to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate law, contracts, and dispute resolution, with a proven track record of handling litigation matters in commercial real estate.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in real estate litigation, including contract disputes, landlord-tenant matters, title issues, and property rights cases.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and other related documents.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on complex commercial real estate matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Handle trial preparation, court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure effective case management.
• Stay up to date with evolving real estate laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Florida.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in real estate law and commercial litigation.
• Strong litigation and trial experience in commercial real estate matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling high-value real estate transactions and disputes.
• Background in land use, zoning, and development law.
• Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution methods.
