As a Real Estate Manager II on the Corporate Real Estate team, you get the opportunity to lead the strategic and tactical space planning for the British Columbia and Alberta region, within the TELUS' administrative portfolio. As the first point of contact for workplace requests, you would be providing needs analysis and validation. You will also be supporting services related to the implementation, maintenance of AutoCAD drawings and repositories.

As a Real Estate Manager II on the Corporate Real Estate team, you get the opportunity to lead the strategic and tactical space planning for the British Columbia and Alberta region, within the TELUS' administrative portfolio. As the first point of contact for workplace requests, you would be providing needs analysis and validation. You will also be supporting services related to the implementation, maintenance of AutoCAD drawings and repositories.
What you'll do
- Develop, analyse and report of key space and occupancy metrics to create workspace and occupancy strategies
- Create strategic programs and related business case analysis
- Engage with local business units in support of space and occupancy requirement identification
- Generate space and occupancy reports using Excel and Google Sheets with a high level of proficiency
- Develop and document layout, design, and space plans for facilities based on team member moves and occupancy changes
- Conduct building audits as needed to verify employee locations, furniture layouts, and room configurations against floor plans
- Apply knowledge of building construction processes and related documentation to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with end users and the CAD|CAFM team to gather updates from planning, work orders, and design or construction activities
- Maintain and update CAFM system drawings, space data, and occupancy records based on move and project details
- Manage and maintain the reservations system to ensure accurate booking data, availability, and system performance and pull reports
- Update reservation system settings, user access, and booking parameters as needed to support evolving space management needs
Qualifications
What you bring
- Associate degree/diploma in Interior Design or Architectural Technology or a two-year college/technical school in a related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the CAFM/IWMS industry, with a strong understanding of space planning and facilities data management
- 2 - 3 years' experience managing CADD/CAFM systems at a portfolio level for large organizations
- Experience with space management platforms such as Tririga, Centerstone, ARCHIBUS, Tango, or similar CAFM/IWMS technologies
- Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Revit, with hands-on experience applying these tools in integrated CAFM solutions
Great-to-haves
- Knowledge of space measurement standards such as BOMA and IFMA, including their application in different real estate and facilities contexts
- Experience in document control processes and CAD standards within facilities management
- Bilingual in French and English
