We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and lead presale real estate marketing campaigns that drive market-leading absorption and sales success. In this pivotal role, you'll manage a portfolio of exciting projects, serving as the main point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders. Your in-depth understanding of the Vancouver real estate market, target demographics, and the latest marketing trends will allow you to create and execute innovative campaigns that exceed expectations-on time and on budget.

As the Marketing Manager, you'll combine your creative vision with your exceptional project management skills to ensure that every campaign runs smoothly. You'll mentor and guide a talented team of Marketing Coordinators, fostering both team growth and success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project Management
    • Lead and manage a portfolio of marketing projects at various stages of the product life cycle, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients
    • Actively participate and set cross-functional meetings with internal and external teams to ensure all parties are informed and deliver comprehensive services to clients
    • Create project timelines and determine project dependencies, track progress, and provide status updates using project management tools; accountable for meeting all deadlines
    • Develop and manage project budgets based on estimated project revenue, allocate resources, and report on expenditures
    • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies, escalating issues when necessary


  • Creative Marketing
    • Develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with client goals. Draw inspiration from diverse industries, analyze data, understand market dynamics, and evaluate the competitive landscape to create a clear vision
    • Collaborate with Sales Directors to prepare Term Plans for clients
    • Build strong, collaborative relationships with creative partners-including agencies, renderers, media, photographers, and influencers- by providing clear, articulate, and comprehensive creative briefing and constructive feedback where necessary
    • Review and evaluate creative work product to ensure it meets project brand and voice guidelines, rennie marketing best practices, and grammatical and design principles
    • Negotiate contracts for suppliers and vendors including agencies and media outlets with guidance and support from the Marketing Director
    • Create project launch plans including media spend, public relations, events, and communications.
    • Oversee the concept, planning and execution and presentation centre creative
    • Manage email marketing strategies, including production, design, and distribution
    • Brief, review and provide feedback on project copywriting


  • Leadership
    • Prioritize the workflow and output of Marketing Coordinator project deliverables through weekly meetings
    • Provide guidance and feedback to Marketing Coordinators, fostering their performance and professional growth


  • Client Relationship Management
    • Identify and anticipate client needs and translate them into tailored marketing strategies and solutions that align with rennie's marketing expectations and standards
    • Design and implement marketing campaigns that align with the client's goals, product offering, price point, and target audience
    • Adapt communication style to persuade clients to adopt recommended marketing strategies and vendor partnerships, addressing their concerns and feedback to maintain high service standards
    • Triage client feedback and questions through to completion


WHAT YOU BRING

Education and Experience
  • 5+ years experience in the Vancouver real estate market or successful pre-sale market experience in another major city
  • 5+ years of experience working in marketing including several years leading client-facing marketing projects and campaigns
  • Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, real estate or a related field an asset
  • PMP certification or working toward it, considered an asset

  • Demonstrated expertise applying project management principles and tools to effectively lead multiple complex marketing initiatives simultaneously, including identifying and mitigating risks, and managing resources and budgets effectively to achieve project goals
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to identify what's most important and manage priorities, workflow, and people
  • Skilled at managing client relationships including quickly identifying needs of internal and external clients and developing tailored solutions that achieve their goals
  • A champion of creative thinking and long-term strategies, you are skilled in developing and delivering marketing concepts and campaign plans that are aligned with the organization's and clients' goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and to present clearly and persuasively. You exhibit the confidence and conviction to inspire and persuade stakeholders toward innovative solutions.
  • Ability to effectively lead a meeting through strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and good judgment to make timely and sound decisions
  • With a high sense of self-awareness, you ask for help when necessary, seek feedback, and continuously develop your skills and abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
  • Software skills:
    • Project management tools: Proficiency in Asana and/or Smartsheets (or similar)
    • Communication and collaboration tools: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite, and workplace instant messaging
    • Marketing and design tools: Familiarity with Pardot, Stripo, Canva, Adobe, ReviewStudio (assets)


WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Our home office is located just outside of Granville Island in Kitsilano and this role is primarily office based with some flexibility to work remotely


SALARY INFORMATION

The typical base salary for this specific position is from $75,000 to $92,000. The salary offered is based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors including education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational needs. We also have a performance based bonus program that supports our employees by recognizing exceptional individual performance and company success.
