About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-orientated Real Estate Program Coordinator to support the Real Estate team with facility management, program management, and small project management.
As the Real Estate Program Coordinator, you will use your skills to support facility maintenance and oversee the application and ongoing maintenance of programs to support the workforce, including collaboration with other internal functions.
Under the small project scope, you will be responsible for project management scopes covering facility, office, and accommodation projects from conception to completion. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment to organizational goals, and managing resources to achieve desired outcomes.

About the Role

You will use your expertise to:
Facility Maintenance
- Ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of offices and facilities.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders on cleaning and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting of lease and operational costs.
Program Management
- Lead the planning and implementation of various programs and initiatives.
- Identify and manage risks associated with programs, implementing mitigations as needed.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program teams, fostering a collaborative and results-orientated environment.
- Maintain comprehensive program documentation including reports, plans, and communications.
Project Management
- Lead and manage small facility projects, including renovations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all resources are allocated efficiently.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and within scope.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure that project objectives are met.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards.
To be successful, you will have:
- Post secondary degree/diploma in Project Management, Facility Management, or a related field equivalent years of experience will be considered.
- 5 years' or more progressive experience in facilities management
- Solid proven project management, preferably in a similar role
- Contract management experience is essential.
- Strong subcontractor management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and safety regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously .and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Certification in Project Management is a plus.
This role requires that you:
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
- Live in the beautiful District of Stikine (Kitimat/Terrace). For applicants located outside of the region, you are encouraged to explore what Kitimat has to offer in terms of lifestyle including schooling, local amenities, outdoor adventure, and housing, to ensure Kitimat is where you would like to call your new home.
- Live in Calgary, with the ability to conduct Business Travel to the project location.
- Are willing to comply with LNGC's drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Undergo a pre-placement medical assessment of your fitness for duty, and Pre-Site Access testing for alcohol and specified drugs.
- This role is expected to end approximately September 2025. This is a full-time role with benefits, this is not a contractor role, nor a fly-in, fly -out.
