We are looking for our first in-house recruiter and talent manager to help build our organization. You will be responsible for both building our talent programs as well as securing top talent to meet ongoing needs. This includes responsibility for the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent, as well as managing our contingent workforce program to ensure we smoothly onboard the right specialized talent through staffing agencies and vendors. This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You will be a builder - helping build the infrastructure of our talent programs. You will be a doer - finding the right talent for our organization. Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead full recruiting lifecycle (job scoping with manager, sourcing, candidate interviews, scheduling of interviews, offer discussions)
- Develop and maintain overall recruiting program (Greenhouse, role based question templates, candidate experience)
- Manage contingent workforce talent acquisition (assessing talent, mid-contract check-ins, onboarding and offboarding)
- Develop and maintain overall contingent workforce program (managing vendors, developing and implementing efficient processes, ensuring relevant contracts are in place)
- Maintain understanding of roles and needs across departments; manage up to date job descriptions
- In partnership with Learning & Development, develop competency frameworks for roles
- Establish and maintain a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the department and across departments to foster a cohesive and productive work environment
- Participate in other HR initiatives as needed
Skills & Work Requirements:
- 8+ years experience as a recruiter or related HR function, across a variety of jobs and levels
- Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and best practices
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), Greenhouse a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, asks the right questions to obtain critical information, able to communicate insights in a skillful way
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives and process improvements independently
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Works with a high level of professionalism, trustworthiness and integrity; respects and values confidentiality
- Models a spirit of cooperation with team members, building a culture of collaboration and kindness
