What you'll do:

The Region Sales Leader (RSL) will lead and implement all enterprise go-to-market activities, including sales and retention strategy/execution within the assigned region. The successful RSL is creative, energetic, and a self-starter who fully understands the sales process and has demonstrated leadership experience of technology and managed services experience. He or she will know how to develop a team who will sell innovative solutions and business value to compress decision cycles. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships, as well as strong communications skills is critical to the success of this role.

Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions (Colocation, DRaaS, BaaS, IaaS, hybrid & public cloud, etc)
  • Knowledge of security solutions (Firewall, SOC/SIEM, MDR/XDR, SASE)
  • Knowledge of fiber access and transport, managed network services (MPLS/WAN, DIA, SDWAN)
  • Manage and oversee a market/team of individual contributor sales account executives.
  • Oversee forecasting, TBR, quota attainment, and all related metrics to sales performance on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. Regularly meet or exceed revenue targets for retention and growth within assigned market/territory.
  • Experience in managing new logo acquisition (new revenue) and demonstrated success retaining and growing existing account/customer relationships (renewal, upsell/x-sell revenue)
  • High level of analytical ability and effective communicator (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail, highly accurate, and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong technical and business knowledge, self-driven and possess the ability to manage projects and multi-task to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work well within all areas of the US Signal organization as well as external customers and vendors.

  • Clear understanding of value based/solutions selling.
  • Prior success/skills/experience in leading a region is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business/sales/marketing or a related field of study, equivalent work experience or a combination thereof is preferred.

Experience:

Prior management experience; Must have at least five years' sales experience - preferably in outside sales with telecommunications/technology experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position operates in a variety of environments. The majority of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Required License(s)/Certification(s):

Valid, active driver's license with a good driving record as defined by the Company's current insurance provider.
