What you'll be doing

The Regional Branch Manager is responsible for leading the inside sales, counter sales and operations teams ensuring smooth, efficient operations and profitability. This includes ensuring that all KPI's, including profitability targets and recommended margin levels, are achieved.

SALES AND MARKETING

Be responsible for maintaining and building strong relationships with customers in the region including visibility a the counter and customer sites.

Responsible for achieving branch goals and objectives assigned by sales leadership.

Create and develop the annual branch sales budget.

Identify and seek new business opportunities to grow market share.

Prepare for and participate in regularly scheduled sales and marketing meetings

Organize, host, and promote customer training and events throughout the year.

LEADERSHIP

Provide day-to-day leadership for your teams, including Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Warehouse, and administrative employees.

Mentor and coach employees to do their best work.

Collaborate with Human Resources to interview, hire, train, motivate, reward, discipline, address complaints and resolve employee problems.

Responsible for employee learning and development

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness of all functions.

Lead by example, ensure all aspects of Quality and ISO processes and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety.

Responsible for Inventory Management at the branch - cycle counting, turns, fill rates, inventory accuracy, annual inventory counts.

Ensure all marketing material and merchandizing are all well displayed, current and well stocked, including rotating stock and having proper signage.

QUALITY

Responsible for maintaining the role of Quality Representative for the branch.

Responsible for the criteria in the "Branch Inspection Report" is adhered to and completed as required

What you bring to the table

Post-secondary education (degree, diploma/certificate), preferably in an Electrical related discipline or Business Administration

Minimum of 5+ years Management experience within an electrical related environment.

Must have organizational knowledge - industry, market, products, company, etc.

Must possess a keen business acumen and act in line with the company's vision.

Experience motivating, mentoring, and coaching employees.

Exceptional communication skills, including both written and verbal.

Additional skills required: strategic planning, negotiation, time management and delegation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
