Overview
Do you have a passion for instructional design? Can you formulate communications on complex topics for various audiences? If so, then our Regional CSO Learning & Development Lead role is just for you!
How you'll make an impact
- Create and design Learning & Development Training programmes in-line with strategic objectives. To design, deliver and evaluate sessions within the group learning framework.
- Manage the needs of the business, ensure it reaches the targets for the year. Ensure individuals have continuous improvement and development for success planning where applicable.
- Collaborate with the Senior HR Strategic Partner and Managers to find new ways of delivering excellent L&D products and solutions
- Arrange internal and external training to address competency gaps! Research potential new learning activities. Be the HR link and look for opportunities for members of the Community to take advantage of L&D opportunities
- Offer a quality, efficient service; maintain accurate records and financial reporting for operational costs.
- Collate session feedback from workshops and determine L&D activities as required and co-ordinate all support arrangements to facilitate smooth delivery
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field
- 5+ years directly applicable experience in insurance or financial brokerage
- Proficient in developing and following individual work plan(s)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Up to 60% travel, with specific area of travel being within assigned region and at times, travel to Gallagher headquarters
Preferred:
- Professional certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance CPLP) or equivalent training experience preferred
- Insurance and/or customer service learning and development experience preferred
Behaviors:
- Able to collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to identify learning needs, build out materials and implement them in a way that leads to behavior change
- Excellent presence and ability to build and sustain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
