Description:
Partner with assigned senior leadership to develop and execute business plans and initiatives to support HomeServices overall strategy. Direct assigned finance staff to provide superior financial analysis and commission processing services for the business. Oversee and direct policies, procedures, and controls to facilitate accurate and compliant reporting for the assigned region.

1.Establish and administer local business plans and budgets, along with goals and deliverables, to align with business strategy and create value. (40-50%)
2. Interact with regional finance leaders and HomeServices senior leadership to coordinate efforts and ensure business needs are met. (35-40%)
3. Manage local operating company finance staff. Perform activities necessary for effective management of staff, including employee safety, staff selection and development, salary and budget administration, employee counseling and motivation, communicating organization goals and objectives, and planning, integrating, measuring, and reporting of work performance. (10-15%)
4. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Wage: $178,000 - $225,000 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
Location: This position is open to remote work; candidates must reside in one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or Delaware.
Travel: Occasional travel required-approximately once a month or quarterly-to regional office located in: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

- Establish and utilize key operating metrics to assess and drive the performance of operations.
- Lead creation of annual budget, set budget goals, review results vs. plan, and adjust to align with business objectives.
- Implement policies, procedures, and controls to facilitate timely, accurate and consistent reporting of financial results and ensure compliance with financial and legal reporting requirements.
- Consult with and advise all management segments concerning the business' operation as it relates to the attainment of objectives and the effectiveness of policies, organizational structure, and procedures.
- Manage operating and capital expenditures to attain EBITDA projections.
- Administer tax policies and procedures.
- Assure protection of the business and its assets through internal controls, policies, procedures, and necessary insurance coverage.
- Appraise and interpret the effect of economic factors and other external factors on the business.
- Implement best practices to leverage synergies and critical mass of the HomeServices organization to enhance profitability.
2. Interact with regional finance leaders and HomeServices senior leadership to coordinate efforts and ensure business needs are met. (35-40%)
- Deepen customer relationships as a trusted and valued partner.
- Serve as escalation point for operating companies within the region.
- Direct finance activities related to contracts and leases including initial valuation and approval of business case.
- Lead efforts to assess and align resources and processes to achieve operational excellence within the Finance function.
- Continually evaluate business and ensure needs are met.
- Mentor regional finance leaders, communicating goals and reporting of work performance.
3. Manage local operating company finance staff. Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
Experience:
- Ten plus years of relevant finance and management experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills including frequent interaction with senior leadership.
- Project management skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, including hands on work when required.
- Possess and demonstrate creativity, versatility, sound judgement, and drive.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and general accounting software/systems.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- CPA preferred.
